Can't get the bot to work properly

Hello,

it seems that i have really big issues to get the bot working.

The biggest issue i have:
I cant even run the Bot with "unoptimized" settings. So i can't see at all, what happens in game.

I followed all the guides provided here without big success.

The last thing i tried was Act 3 , Arreat Crater-Keep Depths 2-Fields of Slaughter 3-7-3.xml , and my char only achieved 234k Gold / Hour. (WW-Barb, mp10 ready, tried @ mp1).

I tried it with other classes, too. But no big success. Also i tested most of the provided profiles.

I attached a log, maybe you can help me with it.



Is there anything special required to actually use the "unoptimised" settings? I wanna see, what my bot does. Really.

Hi Handnavi, we will look into your log and get back to you asap.

As regarding the unoptimised setting , you just need to click on the button after or before you start the bot.

Will attach a barb setting for you in abit.

Thanks for the quick response.
I allready tried to click the button as you suggested before or after i start the bot.
The bot then will start D3 and login correctly.
As soon as he tries to create a new game, i get a "Windows Error" ?
I attached a screenshot of the error i receive.

I am running it on Windows 8 with an Admin User.

Did a little bit of testing....

What works:
- Starting the bot with the following settings:
1.) Optimized + Speed Hack enabled
2.) Not optimized + Speed Hack disabled

-What does not work:
1.) Optimized + disabled
2.) Not optimized + enabled


Besides that.... I was only able to run Act 3 , Keep Depths 2.
All other profiles just returned back to town / exit without doing stuff.
Keep Depths2 was really bad, too. Bad atleast it killed up to 20 mobs / run.


Yeah, i made sure, that i always got the correct checkpoints and stuff. (I am very experienced with the D bot... )

Maybe someone can help me with Teamviewer or something.

Just downloaded the newest version -> now i cant use it with unoptimized settings anymore.

Does'nt this bot work on Windows 8?

I am using Windows 8 - 64 Bit.

Hi Handnavi, there might be some issue with window 8 as there's an issue where sometimes the bot can run without any issue with it and sometimes it cant. We are still looking into the issue atm.

are there any news for me? :-)

I just tested 0.9.85 and i still cant use it properly.
All profiles just wont work correctly (immediately teleporting back into town after taking the portal / waypoint etc.)
Also i cant run it unoptimized.

Are these known issues for Win8?
