How do I use the creator so it would interact with objectives, waypoints and quests? Do I need to know the ID of the waypoint, etc etc?

Right now the showing of actor IDs are not implemented in the Bot. It'll be added in future versions.
Currently to interact and use the waypoint, you don't need to specify the ID, just use <UseWaypoint waypointNumber="[specify the number here]"/>
To use portal between different areas, e.g. go from KD1 to KD2, just use <UseObject/>
